Niram standards
Safety & child protection
Niram has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, harassment, non-consensual content and other conduct that endangers people.
Effective and last updated: 15 September 2026
Niram is a dating service for people aged 18 and over. Minors are not permitted to create or use an account.
1. Standards against CSAE and CSAM
Niram strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualisation of minors, or attempts to obtain or distribute exploitative content. This prohibition applies to profiles, photographs, biographies, messages and all other use of the service.
2. Reporting and response
Members can open a profile’s safety menu inside Niram to report or block that member. Reports may be reviewed by authorised moderators. Niram may remove content, disable accounts, preserve relevant evidence, prevent further contact and make reports to appropriate authorities or legally designated organisations when required.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not download, forward or redistribute suspected CSAM; report the account through Niram instead.
3. Community protections
- Profile owners must use truthful, lawful and consensual photos and information.
- Threats, stalking, bullying, hate, scams and requests for money are prohibited.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery and sexual coercion are prohibited.
- Members can block another user to stop further interaction and remove them from discovery.
- Niram retains relevant safety records where needed to prevent repeat abuse and comply with law.
4. Compliance and cooperation
Niram complies with applicable child-safety laws and responds to valid legal requests. A designated child-safety point of contact is maintained for communication with Google Play and relevant authorities. These standards are reviewed as the service and legal requirements evolve.
5. General safety guidance
Keep financial details, passwords and identity documents private. Be cautious when moving conversations off-platform. Meet first in a public place, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transport, and leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.
